Electronic Lien Transfer The La. Dept of Motor Vehicles is starting an Electronic Lien
Transfer Database. Paper titles will no longer be issued to all lienholders . It will be mandatory
beginning July 1st that Banks, Finance Companies
and all other lenders recording over 250 liens per year participate in the ELT Program in order to have liens recorded. The
files can be processed at any Public Tag Agency. You will be given a unique ELT code to submit with your 1799 and UCC1
form. Our office will be waiving the additional fee of $4.75 for the first 6 months.We want your business at Brother’s Title Co. in New Iberia
